Converting points to pay 15%

Contributor: eri86 eri86
Do I need to calculate what 15% of the cost of an order would be, and then convert the appropriate amount of points onto a card?

Or can I convert all my points, and the appropriate amount is automatically applied to purchase when I use my 'gift card'?

Convert as many of your points over as you'd like to. Use the gift card code to redeem the 15% and only the amount allowed to be redeemed will be deducted from your card. The rest will remain there for future use. Hope this helps.

You just put in your points card and it takes the maximum amount out for you! And the remainder on that card is good for next time. But, you can also stack gift cards, so even if you converted your points in many different, smaller amounts, there is no problem! You just keep entering in card codes until it tells you your limit is reached! If you have less points than the maximum allowed, it will just use as many as you enter, no problem.

So, for example, say you can use $25 in points on your order and you have three points gift cards, a $5, a $15 and another $15 one. You can either enter in the code for the $5, then after applying that, you can enter in the code for the $15, and then the next$15. You will see on the bottom right, under your total, that the first two cards were totally used up, but the third card will now only have $10 remaining on it. The next time you shop and enter that same code, you will have $10 on that one instead of $15. So there is no need to worry about odd amounts, the math is done automatically for you. Now, you could ALSO use the cards this way: add one of the $15 card codes and then another $15 code. You will then have a $5 card from before and a remaining $5 on the second of the $15 cards. Basically, just keep entering card codes until it tells you you have used the maximum amount and then next time you will see what is left on any previously used cards by checking your list.

One more thing...don't forget to do this after all the other discounts have been used first. So what I do is enter any codes for discounts such as a percentage off a certain brand. Then, after any and all codes are used, if there are any items that are NOT on sale in my order, I use a member's partner code (such as YC9, for Sincerely Yours, N's partner code. You can find codes listed under people's profiles, if they have a code.) to get 15% off those full price items! After all that, then you get to use points for another 15% off your order total, sweet, huh?! Lot's of people don't know about, or forget to use the partner codes on non-sale items! And finally, one other way to save, if you are an advanced reviewer and have a high enough rank, you can do a buy out for 30% off any item(s) you want to do a review for. And even with that 30% off, you can still use 15% in points off the remaining total!!! You can't do better anywhere else with that one because it never expires!!
