I've pretty much tried everything I could think of to get this to work. I don't even get the 'friends' discount - it's just full-price. I've shared the page about 4 times now, too, and I still don't get any discount whatsoever. Am I missing a step, here? ):

My pc never does it correctly, but the tablet does. However, my tablet has to be sent off to the manufacturer for repairs so if it's an item I really want I have to submit a support ticket. They do work with you and will find a way for you to get the discount.
