I'm asking again.

I'm hoping bringing the topic up again won't ruffle any feathers, but I created a topic a little while ago about a company posting a really lengthy comment on my review that kind of.. overtakes the comments section and you can't miss it. When I created the topic, a lot of contributors said I definitely had a reason to raise my eyebrow and they wanted the comments taken off. I went back to check the page to see if anything had been solved with the issue and found that a moderator took down all rights to comment and deleted all comments that had been posted in the forum. The company's comment remains on my review and I can't help but kind of feel like my wishes to have that removed were overlooked and not taken into account at all, especially when fellow reviewers that had the same thing happen spoke out and stated they weren't comfortable with it, either.

I wasn't sent a message about the issue or anything, and it feels a little weird to go back just to see all the comments deleted and no ability to post any comments at all. There wasn't anything negative going on in the thread other than contributors discussing a topic, but I don't know if I have the right to question that or not. I feel like had a CONTRIBUTOR posted that information on my review and not a representative from a company that things would've gone a lot differently. Maybe not, who knows? I never had anyone talk to me about the issue or remove the comment and when checking if there was anything else said about it, everything was deleted.

So, what now? Do I submit a support ticket, do I message a moderator personally, I've never really had this kind of issue so I figured customer service was the best place to look.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Hello,

I'm sorry, but we won't be removing Nikki's comments placed on the Sasha Grey reviews you and others have written. The reason being is that there is absolutely nothing negative about Nikki Lee's comment.

She is providing additional resources to counter information she felt was inaccurate in the reviews. I expect to be hearing from her regarding my review of the Sasha harness (published last night).

Nikki's comment goes on to explain the use of the different pouches, which you and others specifically use outside of their intended purpose and as the representative for SpareParts, Nikki has the right to correct any perceived misinformation.

I personally found her sizing chart so helpful that I included it in my review.

This is one of the best things about Eden. A representative for a manufacturer read your reviews - she knows what you like, what you don't like, and if enough of us say "hey, this product isn't what I thought it was", then they may be inclined to make changes to it.

All of that aside, the forum is never the place to air grievances like this and you should always contact an administrator to resolve your issues.

JR specifically asked you to message him if you had any additional questions or wanted to discuss the matter further. We're also working on including that specific size chart for the product.

I figured this was the case as the comments weren't removed.

@Hannah I'm with you. It still doesn't feel right. If a contributor were to post a comment like this, helpful or not, it would have been removed. I personally can't stand to look at my own review because of that damn comment. It's absolutely ridiculously long.

Beck, I'm afraid I must disagree with you. If the tone of a contributor's comment is respectful while providing additional information, we wouldn't remove their comments either.
