NOT Happy So Far!!!

USPS and UPS actually are typically the same time for me. However, USPS is actually my preferred because UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays.

I used to get deliveries within 2 days. Since the move, it has been a day longer so far.

I placed an order last night just after midnight and it said to expect delivery Monday, That's about 5 days including a Sunday, not a bad wait if you have had some of my experiences, for example adameve.com tends to not even ship them out from the factory for a week, seriously one full week if you only pay for base shipping, I've had it take longer when I was getting free shipping. By these standards EF isn't that bad right?

I wish more businesses would get the clue! (Don't get me wrong, I love Eden sending my stuff to my PO Box - no worries of my lube or toy cleaner freezing on my porch, or a moose, lynx, wolverine or a bear tearing my toys up all over the place!)

I deal with a select few businesses in the lower 48 that are willing to ship UPS Ground. Most businesses argue with me and insist 2nd day air is the only way to get ANYTHING to Alaska. I asked one company why they could not ship my things Priority Flat rate to me just the same as they sent it to my mother. They insisted it cost more. I had to have my Post Master call them and tell them different.

Ahhhh, ok.
Thankyou for that.

I know our version of the DMV is the same - a place I like to avoid at all costs...hehehe.

I wonder why Eden uses USPS for over here and not UPS.

You're lucky!
Even NZ gets mail on saturday. But we don't have any mail on the weekends.
We don't even have a post office open on a saturday anywhere near me.

So your orders get sent out almost straight away?

They used to. But I did have a few issues during the move. I'm not sure if they were necessarily related to the move, for example the porn assignments didn't get sent for over a week after I accepted them.

And the way the USPS is losing money, dropping Saturday delivery is one of the cost saving measures being debated.

Ahhhh, so it's not just us overseas who are experiencing that.
I thought everything was getting back on track.

As for the courier - if the system is still down, that's almost a month and they would be losing a lot of money - right?
You would think DHL would have that back in action ASAP!

If I had the money, I'd fly over and collect the order (when I place my large one) myself....lol.

Watch out Jen - I'm on my way.....hehe.

I wish someone would tell us straight as to what's going on and if things will ever be the way they use to be.

I KNEW this combining/sale would be a big mistake! They always are.

At this point I've pretty much given up on expecting my order to arrive anytime soon. I've now been told it will finally ship in the next day or so.

I guess I was optimistic in thinking it had actually been sent out like they said it had. When it gets here it gets here I guess. With luck maybe by the end of April.

I would assume they aren't telling you straight whether or not things will ever return to how they were, because they don't know.

I don't work for EF, so this is all speculative, but this is what I ASSUME is going on.

You have all these people who work for EF and who've worked there for the NJ base. And now they, just like us, are adjusting to all this new shit, but they're adjusting more because they don't know Jack in the warehouse and Alicia who answers support tickets anymore--because they haven't met their equivalents yet, just like we haven't. So people like Ilya or Victoria can't be like "HEY WHAT UP, DUDE." because they don't have it like that, yet.

And the people in Atl are adjusting to the fact that they don't just deal with Liberator anymore, but they got this whole new company thrown at them and they're trying to learn all the products and features of EF, too.

I get it, I think it's shitty, too, and I'm not exactly having ~*stellar*~ order experiences--but that's growing pains. Nothing ever runs smoothly right off, it ALWAYS takes time. If no business ever grew, we'd all be buying carrots and peas from the farmer who lived next door and we'd making our own yarn and teaching our children in churches and barns.

And, to be perfectly honest, it probably won't ever be the way it was--that's the nature of growth. Things grow, things change, for better or worse. Nobody can tell you, yet, how things will be better or worse, because, like with everrryyything else in the world, the unexpected is to be expected.

It's funny that your packages all of a sudden were shipped usps. Mine were randomly being shipped by USP for awhile when I did not select it lol. It did not affect me much though. I just was not expecting it!

I have two items sent a week ago and the online tracking part says they are in Miami. A friggin week just to get to Miami?? Bloody hell. Then it will be a good 4 days to row boat it to AU.
That cuts our reviewing time in half.

I know others who haven't had to put up with this major change in shipping times, don't see what the big deal is. I think there would be a lot more up roar if more were experiencing what overseas are.

I hope you get some satisfaction soon!

I can see online where my orders are. That's not the problem.

I'm getting the impression that the problem wont be solved. If the company (whoever is truly in charge now) was concerned about it, I'm sure it would have been sorted to keep customers happy.
There's a number of us who are extremely frustrated since Liberator came on the scene.

I realise that a large move takes time and sending orders out will be slow. That's not the issue. That's acceptable.

Changing shipping methods to something that is pathetically slow, is what is getting us frustrated! That was a major change considering packages use to take 5 - 7 days and now we are waiting weeks.

What I want to know is - is this major change, Liberators doing??? If it is, does Liberator want to do away with international people participating on Eden???

There was no reason to change international shipping from speedy courier to slow ass USPS so that our reviewing time is cut in half!

It is!
I don't understand that. Perhaps Eden had a deal in NJ with the courier company to get it at a great price.
Maybe DHL won't do that rate in GA.

I just hate being in the dark. Makes me more suspicious which I hate.

Weird they have done that to you too. It's good that it doesn't make too much of a change

Hehe - yeah some things seem to take longer than others. I'm hoping to get the O2 Adam and I know it was out of stock for quite awhile.

Sigh. It's been almost three weeks since I placed my last order and either the tracking is broken or it still hasn't made it into Australia. Now I can understand a few days extra wait for kinks with a new system and adjustments but two whole weeks?
That's just crazy. Especially since I paid $31 in shipping!

I never had problems with USPS oversea shipping and made a lot of orders (more than 50). They take a lot of time, but they are for sure cheaper than UPS or DHL.

Shipping costs for oversea orders can define if someone buy something or not. It is not the same to pay $25, than $40 or $50 everytime you make an order.

Well to AU, it costs us the same shipping for the shitty USPS as it did for the speedy courier.

And besides, even if it did cost more, I for one would be more than willing to pay extra for decent shipping!

It seems we can't get any straight answers in the forum which is ashame cause I thought it was better to put my frustrations or questions here rather than over loading the support tickets more.
Perhaps that's why the ticket do get banked up .... in the hope of answers.

I'm certainly losing interest in writing reviews for anything other than what I actually owe. I hate being in the dark and would like to know if this is the service overseas buyers will continue to receive from now on? And if it is, is it Liberators doing???

well I guess it depends of the country.

You say you prefer to pay a little more, and that is true, if you make a big order. It's not the same pay $10 more for an $120 order, than pay $10 more for a $40 order.

So even with the downside of time, we are not buying something that is a must, they are just sex toys and price (for most) cares more than time on this kind of products

Maybe adding the option to choose shipping could be a solution for those who think or have on their country the same results as with USPS.

I order internationally almost daily. and have for years now.
Never have I ever had to wait three weeks for anything from the states and never from any other place around the world that I actually paid for shipping ( only once from a hong kong place but they have free shipping so I was ok with it)

Like I said, I paid $31 dollars in shipping on my order and previously with cheaper shipping EF has shipped within a week- week and a half. So I don't understand how it could cost more and take twice as long.

True - I think there should be a couple of options for overseas.

Yes, money is a big consideration, but for me, if shipping from a company takes 2 - 3 weeks to get to me (when I know it can be a lot quicker), I'm turned off buying there. I go else where. So a couple of shipping choices would be a smart move on Edens behalf.

The review time should not be an issue. JR has said repeatedly that if there are issues due to late shipping, just send an email and let them know. Not once have I found EF to not be accommodating in this regard. I totally understand how frustrated you are with the situation. However, don't make the fact that this cuts into your review time part of the issue, because as far as I have read, it is not.

One of the benefits of USPS (the United States Post Office) is that they deliver on Saturday. To get Saturday delivery from UPS is expensive and you have to ask for it ahead of time.

My only problem with the USPS is that if our regular driver isn't on the route, we have a semi-rural mail delivery, the person who takes his place NEVER comes to the door with packages. He lies and leaves me a note saying I wasn't home when delivery was attempted. I caught him once, because I KNEW a package was coming from Eden.

He was just pulling away from the box, (we don't even have curbs where I live) and I yelled at him and said, "You have a package for me!" He acted surprised, and when I asked why he hadn't brought it to the door, he said, "I didn't think you were home." WTF, a psychic mail man? And he's wrong. No, he's too lazy to get out of the truck and walk the 200 feet or so to the door.

The regular mail guy always comes to the door if the box wont' fit in our mailbox.

I can get extended time for writing reviews but what about porn club.
It's not fun having to sit in on the discussion when you have no idea what is going on because the dvds didn't arrive long beforehand for ya to see them. I guess there is one way to fix that if USPS shipping is now permanant. I'd just like to know one way or the other.

The big issue here is - why on earth was the shipping changed from speedy courier to slow USPS. USPS might be great within the US but it takes forever to leave Miami! It's almost like sea sent mail.
