I just mailed in my first article for EdenCafe. I'm so nervous about getting a response! I worked for days on my just over 800-word article, and did tons of research! My husband got tired of hearing me read it to him! Do they deny articles often? I think my topic was a good one, but I'm not sure they will think so. I guess I'm just overly anxious! How long does it take to hear usually?

It takes 3-5 days to hear back from them - I've submitted something like 6 or 7 articles and only had one denied because of the word account and her budget that month (it was a longer article).
They're great about getting back to you and you get paid within a few days even if your article doesn't publish for a few weeks.

I've submitted quite a few articles to Eden Cafe, and never had one turned down. It usually takes a few days to hear. Good luck!

Congratulations on your submission! It does usually take a few days to hear back, so don't worry unless it's been a week or more.

Got my acceptance email for my article! They liked it, and it will be going live in a few weeks. Also said I may or may not get a link to it, since they've been so busy. Also woke up to my git card this morning! Actually used it or Secret Santa, lol. Perfect timing!

With regard to how long it takes to publish, we've got a pretty large backlog. You guys have really been in the mood to write! It's taking 3-4 weeks for articles to publish right now.
Don't worry! If you haven't seen it yet, it'll show up eventually.
