I think it would be very informative and more comforting to the members to hear from the owner of the company regarding the recent and future changes on EF. Many members are scared and confused about the changes and as the business owner, I feel that if he could post a discussion and give up the facts, it would relieve much of the speculation and panic on the site.

Stormy--you stated you were going to talk to him about other aspects of the site, could you please suggest that he let the members know the recent changes' effects for the site? It would greatly help to calm down the angst and concern on the forums!!! less

I don't have the facts, and I don't think the community does either. We have the bare minimum of knowledge: that, for some reason, all of the administrators have been suddenly and immediately removed from their positions. The problem of the positions not being set to be filled in immediately after the admins' departures is very strange, and I think the community deserves an explanation for these extremely jarring changes.

I would say "The ends don't justify the means," but we don't even know what the means are. The "why" changes the context in which to view Eden's administration; it provides an avenue for each member to decide for their self how to appropriate respond to these changes. The editors have been suffering from what has basically in the last few days become complete chaos in the Task Market. The community deserves some elaboration. less

Stormy, It is not about facts, but about an owner's responsibility to handle business on HIS website. Eden Fantasys is HIS business and RESPONSIBILITY. When you own a business--you are responsible for EVERY aspect of the business--ESPECIALLY the customers!!! It literally costs more money to earn new customers than it does to keep your loyal ones.

As a member of the local chapter of the Small Business Association --I am very well educated in the cost per customer vs. potential customer. Especially when there will be negative connotations about the business made by whomever feels abused or unsatisfied with a low level of service from the company. Many of the members are trying to remind people that EF is a business--so...it should act like a business.

At the end of the day--Fred or Thomas--needs to handle the responsibilities of good customer service and needs to get down to business.

You are doing a good job of dealing with what you can handle--but there is way too much for one person to do, especially on damage control. less
