For me, personally, a size reference chart with some fun reference objects seems super fun. Like you guys do in many reviews, comparing toys to various obscure objects - it's very vivid, extremely clear and much easier to visualize.

I agree with Ginger.
IMO, the reaction images are goofy. I rather not choose one, but the template doesn't allow that.
Pictures tell a thousand words. Extremely long reviews get skimmed over but details are good for serious buyers. Better rewards for very good detailed informative reviews. That should be decided by an Edenfantasys employee.

Reviewers that make " claims " should back them up with experiences or how it was achieved.
Last but not least, some reviews are " just written " ( poorly) to repay for " free" items.
EF should scrutinize reviews and communicate privately what could should be mentioned.

Although dimensions can be seen by clicking on info tab, I like to see them in actual review. Don't like to break continuity when reading.

Remember, this is just my opinion.
Also let reviewers know they can purchase non- free toys with discount buyouts so they can get more interesting items. It's possible many are not aware of this perk.

Gee, OH, that is a beautiful answer! Exactly what we had in mind when we decided to start this poll. Thank you so much for the input.

About the awards - maybe we could make a special nomination in the Monthly Review Rumble. Three best reviews of the month will be chosen by you, guys, and one will get an Editor's Choice Award

Also a nice point about the non-free toys for reviews - yes, we do indeed offer an opportunity like that. You can request a buy-out assignment if you'd like. We offer a 30% discount on any item in exchange for a review. The review submission process is the same and the review is verified.

We are looking forward to more insightful comments like this one!

I just posted a review from a Buy-Out Assignment on the Satisfyer Pro 2, actually! A lot of brands aren't included in the free assignment review program, but that doesn't mean you aren't able to review them. And that sweet, sweet 30% off can be very tempting to persuade reviewers for some out-of-pocket spending to get the items they want to review even if they aren't free. It's a wonderful program that helps to reward reviewers for their input by letting them get a discount on the item - although EdenFantasys always has amazing deals and sales on a variety of items as it is~
If there are users who aren't aware of this feature, perhaps an announcement would be good to make it more publicly known!

Something I know I as a reviewer would enjoy more of is feedback on my reviews. I have a three-section format I've been using in my reviews, detailing my First Impression on unboxing and looking at the item's features/design, my Experience with the item, and my Final Thoughts, but I'd definitely be open to improving upon this format to better my reviewing style to provide quality, informative reviews for the community.

I'd also greatly appreciate it if reasons for why the Monthly Rumble reviews are nominated would be provided. Whether they're my own reviews or others, seeing the reason they were selected would help to offer some insight on what EdenFantasys values most from the reviews being posted. Is it being nominated and recognized for including beneficial images, the depth of the review, the writing style? This would be useful information!

Dear ReverieReviews, a marvelous answer, thank you so much.

Could you please elaborate on getting feedback on your reviews? Like, in which shape and form would you like to get the feedback? We have a rating already that is created by both other contributors and editors voting. Would you like a personal comment or a public one? It could be displayed on the landing page of the review, or you'd rather have it in the admin review template?

I also note your point about defining the conditions of a review being chosen for the Rumble - we can elaborate on that, listing all the things we're looking at when composing our top chart. It would probably add more motivation to many writers, as they would know what they should strive for in order to get nominated. That would be very much like the other point we have in the poll - about the review writing tips.

Hi, I think pics of the products in use for the item being reviewed, would be a great selling point, to be able to actually see how the product preforms. How easy or hard it is to use, and the pleasure or discomfort it gives to the user. I do agree with you about “pictures tell a thousand words” about the item. Just my thought.

I think pictures of how the product REALLY looks instead of a stock photo is always nice. Constructive criticism on reviews always helps too. We’re all here to help!

I do find sometimes with some toys the extended review template are hard to fit to the review/toy... like the sections aren't the best organization of my thoughts on the toy, or I have to shoehorn in something into a required section. It's not always the case... but when doing description reviews, or assignments where I'm forced to use the extended template and some of the sections I feel writing to the template actually might detract how the overall review comes across. The other problem would be the open/free form has a significant word limit over the extended template so it also constrains the detail of the review.

I do think guidelines/recommendat ions for size comparison with photos would be good. I've got enough other toys at this point I can take side by side photos of some of our other toys w/ the toy being reviewed. But I'm not sure if this provides the best perspective... like maybe a template w/ ruler markings we can print & take photos of the toy on top of? Like a ruler on the edges both for width/length? I know OH&W gave a suggestion of items around the house to me once, but finding something that has a fixed known size and common for most people wasn't extremely easy. Just a thought.

I personally don't care for the review template, in the future I think I am going to post more on my blog personally because I feel it allows me to have more control over my review. I also don't like the word minimum. I know many people like long well-written reviews but I prefer to write short to the point reviews because these are the type of reviews I prefer to read. I like to be able to skim a review, see a few pictures to decide if I want to buy something or not. I tend to skip over super long reviews. My reviews have majorly slacked in the last few months simply because of the word minimum.

Since I am still fairly new to writing reviews, I find the review template to be helpful. I am starting to find my groove so I probably won't use it for much longer. I really like the vibration map and would like to see vibration patterns, but that might be too much for toys that have a lot of patterns. I also love the idea of a size reference chart. I don't like the memes/reactions..I don't mind seeing them but I wish they were optional.

I love the idea of a size comparison template! I tried to do a few size comparison pictures but I couldn't find much around the house that would give an accurate enough comparison.

I just joined and tried to post a review about a masturbator. The 300 word, 3 paragraph post requirement was a deal breaker. After spending 40 minutes trying to post, I gave up. Those 40 min would have been great with my masturbator.

I wrote this, but it was NOT LONG enough. Life problems.

It greatly increased the fun and pleasure of my me-time. I imagine it would feel good when used with a p-spot toy. I haven't gotten that adventurous.

This was my first and so far my only stroker. It was a purchased as part of a toy buying spree with my partner. I enjoy it a great deal and I prefer it to my hand, when I masturbate. However, I have much more control with my hand than I do with this stroker.

It is rather difficult and annoying to clean. That is the thing I dislike the most and why I often don't use it.

It definitely hastens my orgasm and when I masturbate, I'm often looking for a longer session. I'd recommend using with a condom for best feeling and increase the length of the masturbation session. Be sure to use a lot of lubrication. Make sure your cock is hard before using the toy. Start with something else, like your hand.

My partner hasn't engaged with its use, but I can imagine it will be great when it happens, as long as she's not too fast with it.

Dear organicfarmer, it's actually a really nice review, but I can see the problem with it being too short. I believe it could benefit from some interesting details. Like, you make some statements in your review that would become much more captivating and saucy if you elaborated on them. For example, why do you feel it would work great as a prostate massager? Why was it so hard to clean? Why do you recommend getting a hard-on before using the toy? These kinds of details will not only make your review longer but also much more engaging, which is always a huge plus.

Best of luck!

A thread that is helping those who want to get into the mentor program to find someone else who needs some students, instead of having to request every mentor and hoping that one is available.

I totally second this - the first 2 mentors I requested just ended up giving me radio silence, and 2 months passed before I was able to get hold of one.
Frankly, I was ready to give up on finding a mentor, but I guess third time was charm in my case... Others may not have been so lucky with this hit-and-miss situation going on.

That is actually a very good idea, dear Mistress Lizzie! I will definitely bring it up during our next department meeting, and it might very well happen soon. Finding mentors can be hard, but it is definitely worth it in the long run.

I agree, I have my own writing style & having to stick to the appropriate sections can sometimes throw me off my groove, in return, not letting me write my best review. If we could get an open review form where we can freestyle write I think would be a great addition as well.

I understand the need for sections, but I feel if someone chooses to use the freestyle layout & doesn’t provide an accurate review or cover enough of the product then it should not be submitted until revised better.

I’d also like to see maybe an easier way to pick products for review. I know I’ve added some to my cart that I was unaware had enough reviews, even tho I found them in the product search. Or I’ve requested an item that seemed to be in my guidelines only to have it declined and another item assigned by an administrator, but not one that I liked.

For some people, it can be a little bit challenging to put in words what they have to say. And template with sections helps to make a review more structured and coherent.

To read an original review written in unique athor's style is incredibly great! That's why we have a standard template, where reviewers can disclose their writing abilities and make a creative review So if you need more space to express your thoughts and opinion, choose the standard template!

Products from product search may be unavailable for various reasons. For example, there can be a limited quantity of it on the stock, or all available free assignments on it has been made already.
Don't forget, you are welcome to make a buyout assignment, that is a great opportunity to get a 30% discount on a product you want to review.

Hello everyone! Once again, let me assure you, that the new review template will soon be up and running. In the meantime, here's one more question for you, guys.

Would you like to have a minimal or a maximum amount of words in every section of the review, how we used to? Or do you want to have a chance to write as little or as much as you want?

Let us know what seems more efficient!

Coming back to EF and seeing all of these changes, I have to say that I absolutely love the vibrations map, but I'm not a fan of the memes. I like having a minimum amount of words, as I feel that letting reviewers write as little as they want could lead to less than great reviews.

I agree with OH&W, Lovebears that better rewards for more detailed reviews could be great. If we could start pushing the voting system and reward those with consistently "extremely useful" votes, that could be great! Maybe encouraging more interactions on the reviews. I know if someone leaves a comment on my review, I'll find something of theirs to read and comment on - even if I don't plan on buying the toy!

Another thing, I would love the free form reviews to come back. I don't like having to put certain info in certain boxes because I don't feel that it flows well with my writing style. You could add the option to use the template or to go with your own style.

I don't like the way we currently have to add pictures, but I realize that is more on the coding side of things than the review managers side. I also agree that having a compare chart (similar to the vibration chart) would be very helpful.

I would love to see the option to provide feedback on mentors. Like for the person above who mentioned that they didn't hear from their mentor, they should have been able to leave a review on the mentor for others to see or just for the review manager to look at.

Finally, I would love to see the stats on the review page. They don't necessarily have to be repeated in the review, but having them listed under the product on the left side of the screen would be hella helpful.

These are excellent suggestions!

There is a nuance about the voting system. A review may be submitted at the end of a month, and simply won't have enough time to get votes. But this idea is great and deserve to be further elaborated.

You may choose a standard review template type if you wish to write a review in your own style.

Anyway, the new review template is coming. We excluded memes, kept the vibration map and added a few more features to make writing reviews more convenient and exciting for you!
But I promise we will save the standard template for those who want to write in their own unique way.

And I absolutely love the idea about mentors' feedback!

Thank you for the input!

Frankly speaking, the last time Sexis wasn't very popular among contributors, and things there cannot be called lively and dynamic
But recently contributors' interest has increased, and I guess we could try to bring Sexis to life

Therefore, if you wish, you are welcome to make a contribution to the development of the magazine and post a few articles there. That would be amazing!
