What do you want to change about reviews?

I'm new to this site so forgive me if I have overlooked my suggestion. I think at the end of the reviews an ability to compare another product right there at the review would be fantastic.

There is a spot at the very end where you can input the product number and it will put in the comparable product. It's not set up for you to write anything about it. It's just a picture with an link. I used this in my most recent lingerie review because eden also carries the exact same one in plus size.

Never mind. I was just about to put the link up to the review to show as an example, and it's the comparison isn't showing. I guess that function is not working. I too would like to see this make a comeback.

To post your review, grab the chosen product to add it to your assignment cart.

Then open the assignment cart and click on the "Write review" button, and you're ready to go.

It may be useful to see Review Program Guidelines where you can find step by step description of the process of writing reviews and submitting requests.

Please, let me know if I can be of further assistance!

The review process needs to be streamlined. You can have more stuff be optional to make a basic review but, offer extra points to fill out the optional parts of the review. You can also add bonus points for adding pictures.

I'm pretty new to the community and have only written a few reviews, but at least for now, I kind of like the template. It helps me organise my thoughts and helps to ensure that I don't leave out any important details. However, I do sometimes find that I have to repeat myself a bit to fill in all the required sections. I think once I've written a few more reviews and get the hang of it a bit more, I'll probably anadon the template and use the standard form (but I'll probably still divide it into similar sections, it'll just allow me to customise the sections to the product a little better).

I like detailed reviews. If I'm going to spend my hard-earned money on something I'm going to be intimate with, I want a detailed run-down of how the product performed for an actual human being. I like to know what worked for folks and what didn't work, so I have an idea of whether or not those problems would be an issue for me or not (for example, my clit is pretty close to my vaginal opening, so when someone complains that a rabbit doesn't reach their clit, that's typically not an issue for me). For a little while, I was VERY hesitent to buy a product that didn't have at least two or three detailed reviews. As a result, I do my best to try to emulate those more detailed reviews.

Question: I'm having trouble figuring out how to add pictures to my reviews. When I click the "upload photo" button, a little box pops up that says something like "you have no uploaded photos," but I can't seem to find where I can actually upload the pictures. Can someone help me out?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out! It was my pop-up blocker that was causing the issue, but I worked it out.

As I'm new to writing reviews, I find the current review templates quite helpful for structuring my writing, particularly with the extended review. The prompts are great for inspiring ideas on what to describe in each section. The format of the extended review doesn't quite fit certain types of toys; however. FOr example, you are required to complete the vibration map, but not all toys vibrate. This is where the standard template comes more in handy. This one is also nice because it doesn't force you to describe the vibration or sound level and indicate these sections as "N/A" for those where it's really not applicable. It also allows for free-form writing which can be good for those who have their own style. I do like seeing pictures/videos that show size references and demonstrations.

Now that I've written more reviews since I last posted in this thread, I do have a few little suggestions for potential improvement of the review-writing process. Namely the vibration map. I think the vibration map is great, but I think it could be even better with a few minor tweaks.

First and foremost, it would be really nice if you had the option of using the same number in more than one place on a toy. For example, if a rabbit vibrates at the same intensity in both the head and the clit attachment, it'd be nice if you had the ability to mark both the head and clit attachment as a 3. Currently, you can only use each number once, which can sometimes make filling in the vibration map a little frustrating when a toy has two (or more) motors that are equally intense.

Secondly, it'd be nice if the "vibration map" had options for marking parts of the toy that are very stimulating, but stimulate with something other than vibration. There are many toys that rotate, thrust, flicker, suck, pulsate, have stimulating texture, etc., but don't vibrate (or some vibrate in addition to having one or more of those other things going on). Filling in the vibration map for those sorts of toys can often be a little challenging. It'd be nice if the vibration map could allow you to mark other forms of stimulation as well. Or perhaps we could just switch to calling it the "stimulation map," and mark it according to the level of stimulation each part of the toy provides, rather than having it be specific to vibration...? That would probably be a lot simpler than trying to include and incorporate every possible type of stimulation a toy can have.

Just a couple little ideas! I love Eden's review programme so much. Of course I love the perks like the free and discounted items, but I also really enjoy writing reviews and sharing my experiences with the community, and I love reading other people's reviews, and find them extremely helpful when I'm selecting products for myself. Hooray for the review programme!
