Why Eden Rocks

Contributor: Safo Garcia Safo Garcia
I am a huge fan of Edenfantasys.com. (Pretty much the only complaint I have about this sex-positive site is that they don't spell their name "Edenfantasies.com." But maybe that’s because I had too much grammar in middle school.)

Eden consistently has the best prices and the most information about their products. I feel confident buying things on Eden because they give me enough information to make my choice as well-informed as possible. Their highly functional website will give you a wealth of information about anything they sell, and most products have several ratings and a couple of user reviews too that will help you make informed consumer decisions. It's well-designed and easy to use. You can create wishlists and ask to be alerted when something that's out of stock becomes available. If you create a user profile, you can also sign up to receive a free toy in exchange for a thoughtful review of it. There's also a wonderful sex-positive community that has grown up around Eden and seems to be growing every day. I don't participate much in the forums, but when I do have time to read them, I enjoy them a lot.

When I buy anything online, and especially sex toys, I want a great deal of specific information about the material, size, composition etc. It's amazing how many sites do not give sufficient information about the products they sell. Even Babeland--one of the best sex-positive sex shops IRL and online--does not have as much information about their products as Eden. They also don't have the thousands of products Eden does, or the consistently lower prices. While Babeland sells only high-end sex toys, Eden sells both low- and middle-end toys in addition to stocking the widest array of luxury toys on the market. And, when it comes to stuff they both sell, Eden's prices are substantially lower, often $20 less or more. Whenever I buy a new toy, I comparison shop, and Eden has the lowest price at least 90% of the time.

And the option to check a huge array of individual categories really comes in handy while shopping. You can narrow down several pages of vibrators simply by selecting "silicone," "semi-realistic" and "black," for example.

Yes. The only thing that makes me cringe is the second "y". I'd have preferred Eden Fantasies, myself, but no one was asking me then. ; ) I've had too much grammar, too.

Haha, the Y bothers me too. I don't like when I recommend the site to people and feel the need to explain that I'm not misspelling it.

It has bothered me a bit as well. However, if you type it in spelled the correct way, it still redirects to this website, so no matter what way someone spells it, it would be alright.

I just want to say that I absolutely detest the site name and it was a major reason for me refusing to participate in the community on the website for years now (and also for making purchases at other websites instead of this one). I think the misspelling reflects poorly on the entire community.

I cringe when I look at the website name. My clitoris runs and hides. It absolutely turns me off. That's how much I dislike looking at the site name.

I am trying very hard to get over it, but I know a whole lot of people who would rather shop at sites without spelling errors on every page. There are a lot of sketchy sex toy stores on the internet, and having a site name with an improper pluralization is a good way to make yourself look like you might be less than trustworthy. I see a lot of value in these communities and I'm trying hard to grin and bear it, but I very much needed to get this off my chest before I spend more time here.

Um wow. If spelling really makes you so angry, and this site is really so terrible, could you tell me why you are participating in the forum and making an ass of yourself?

I agree buzz. despite that one misspelling (which has never really bothered me) this is a great site with a great community. I have not seen another toy shop that can hold a candle to eden. the only reason I have even looked at other sites, is to shop for items that eden doesn't carry. Even then, I usually don't even buy the product, because I don't like the way that other site looks. I will settle for something else that is carried by eden before taking the risk of shopping somewhere that may be a scam site. Though I haven't had very many issues, the ones I have asked about have been met with a degree of seriousness. no one has poked any fun, and my questions were answered to the best of the persons ability who was doing the answering. any time someone mentions needing to buy new toy, or adult product, I refer them to eden, because of how great this place is. if you have questions about a toy, they will be answered. there is even a place to discuss politics and current events.

The Forums.

The place to go to celebrate your little victories- and in some cases the big ones too!!!! It's the place to go to ask your questions, and get replies and responses. Even if people cannot answer, they are sympathetic, and are there for what I've seen as a type of moral support.

The wealth of information for sexual health, discovering ones prostate or g-spot... relationship advice.... Well... someone could quite possibly be lost in the Forums!!!

Eden rocks because everyone becomes a community, and want to help each other out. The programs and incentives for contributors and reviewers are amazing. I thank you so much for all you have let me accomplish!

Funny, I actually like the way they spell Fantasys cause I like things spelt different to the 'normal' way.
And honestly, I don't care how they spell anything - I want the actual products and chating with great people! That's what REALLY matters to me.

I LOVE the major variety and the way everything is set out.
The only thing that really gets me is the Sexis section where an article is often placed under more than one category. It often means I read the same article more than once. I find it kinda frustrating.

I love just about every aspect of this site. The toy selection is really good, the 1:1 aspect feature is amazing, the community is extremely helpful, and the review program is simply spectacular. It's the only place I visit for toys, aside from amazon when something is not available here.
