I have spent a while browsing the classifieds as well as listing some things myself. However after searching the forums for posts on the classifieds, as well as conducting a poll on how frequently Edenites traffic the selling section, I have noticed they aren't getting much attention as they should be! There are lots of amazing sales going on, so I urge everybody to drop by more often! I feel the classifieds cobwebs could be changed with a greater exposure to them (more "banner whoring" around the site) to draw people in; as I don't think many users know its even there!
There are many toys that need new homes, and it's always better to snag a deal!

Well, Geogeo - the classifieds can be used for far more than placing ads for toys.

We encourage everyone to post things they'd like to get rid of for a little extra cash. Books, cds (does anyone still own cds?), non-pirated movies, clothing, equipment, electronics, hell you could sell your car on there if you wanted to do so!

So, the classified don't have to be for items specifically bought from EF? That's all I ever see on there, that's why I stopped looking...

I just sold several items I listed on there. What I found worked for me was timing (which is just coincidence) and pricing. You can't really go at it expecting to make a lot of money. I just price items to move (anywhere from $10 to $25 - even for top of the line toys) and then they move.

At first, I went into it hoping to make some money, and then I decided it was more important to just clear out the space and get rid of the stuff. Once I decided that, and priced my items accordingly, I sold all of them but 2 the very first day! (And I did end up making a little bit of money that way.)

Plus a lot of it is timing, which we can't know ahead of time or control. If you happen to list something that someone else happens to want, then it will sell.

PS - If you didn't already know, you can check and see how many "views" each of your ads have gotten by clicking on "My Ads" in the upper right hand corner.

I have a pop up--but live all the way across the US from you--so you would actually end up paying much more for mine than if you bought one new. I thought about letting you know but realized your state before I answered and felt like an ass, lol!!

I like looking at the classifieds, To be honest though I look and If I see that someone is trying to sell something for less than 30% off, It makes no sense. I can buy it from Eden brand new and get free shipping and points. I wouldn't buy it used for anything less than 50% to 75% off. This includes gift cards. I also know that I can trust Eden.

Yep, yep. As long as it isn't illegal, you can sell it on our site and deal with members you know and trust!

Exactly! Plus, if there is no original packaging for a used item, that makes a difference on how much someone is willing to pay too.

Neither did I O_O, but I may use it in the future! It's nice to know the kind of community you're dealing with while selling stuff online xD and Eden's seems quite friendly and reliable.
