I'm sure we're all subject to products going out of stock -sigh- so do you think it would be a good idea for Eden to show how many of each product is available, so that we don't wait and miss out?

In theory, yes -- I just don't think it's something that EF will be able to do. I seem to remember them posting in the past that it just isn't possible.

I wish I could know, but I understand why they can't. I believe it was explained thoroughly on an admin board. Though, with extensive inventory technology that updates, I think it could eventually be possible?

I'd love it, but it would be CRAZY. It would take SO much work on their part that, frankly, I'd rather them put towards improving other areas of the site.

It sounds good in theory but as others have said, it'd be hard. I think it would work better to have a disclaimer on the page when it's getting low in stock.

I would like to see this happen. No, they don't have to show how many they have exactly at all times, but when an item is getting low in stock, I think they should say that, or give an amount. I have seen this done on many other websites.

I feel like giving the exact amount of products available would be really difficult, but it would definitely be nice to have some sort of alert when a product is almost out of stock, that way I know if I should buy it now or risk having to wait a long time for it to come back, if it ever does. Because that's happened to me before, I've decided to wait to buy a product and then like the next day it's out of stock and doesn't come back for like 2 months. Pretty frustrating.
