I think having a notification saying that something is low on stock wouldn't be too difficult to do. Eden is a business, not just a website. They should have some form of organisation with these things.

while i think it's totally unrealistic to have an updated stock list available for customers, as it just take far too much work and coding to do. the idea of having items listed as "low stock" or "few units left" (in the same way products state they are new or on sale on the search page) is a good one, and something to maybe take into consideration if it seems like a doable option.

If/When Eden does upgrade their platform and software and implements this feature, it would make it even more awesome. But it's pretty good now and that'll be fine for however long.
I'm learning that it's possible to read between the lines sometimes with products. Anything that goes on a clearance sale price seems to be likely to be discontinued. I've also noticed that items which are on sale beyond the sale date are usually (always?) discontinued when they sell out.
I feel like Eden is continuously improving, and that they definitely take user feedback and suggestions into account when they make changes/improvements.

I found a sure fire way to really tell is if a few of the colors available have not been restocked and you check out the "set alerts" button it will only say "alert me to new and similar products," as well as how you mentioned if a product is still on sale way beyond the sale date it's almost guaranteed that it will no longer be restocked.

That would be a great feature. Surely Eden has a database of the stock they keep, otherwise how would they keep a business running?
