-Do you find that the video reviews are more helpful? In what ways?
-Are you more likely to read them if there is a video attached to it?

I like the video reviews; they show details that I wouldn't be able to see by reading a written review. Typically if I'm looking at a specific product, I'll seek out a video review. It's especially helpful to see the reviewer holding the product, or if it's a vibrator, to hear how loud it is or how to operate the controls.

Video reviews are really helpful much of the time - especially when I'm really tired and not in the mood to focus on reading. They also often help to give a sense of scale, as well as flexibility and squishiness (for soft toys) and noise level (for vibes).

If I am really on the edge of buying something I will seek out video reviews. If it is a piece of lingerie I think video reviews can be even more helpful in lots of cases than written reviews.

I like it that the video reviews SHOW what the toy can do. I don't usually read the written review if there is a video attached to it, tho.

I agree with all your comments. Im the same way with trying to seek out a video review in the event that Im on the edge of "Do I really want this or not?" Sometimes the videos will show the squishiness(as someone pointed out) and I love being able to see the actual length and girth of the toy. I know they have measurements on them, but it helps to see the toy

I'd be way less likely to buy online without videos. Like Cmex, I really like videos that show much give the toy has (bending and squeezing) and give me a sense of size (most do just by holding them in their hands).

Not enough folks do this, but I really appreciate it when they do: Vids are great for illustrating how much a toy vibrates (using a water or showing bounce on a hard surface, or even just describing how the vibes feel and carry when they're holding it in their hands), WHERE it vibrates most on the toy (this is important!), and how the vibrations stand up to pressure.

I agree. Im going to be doing some video reviews on some of the items that I have. I have quite a few reviews that I have done so far and I know that some of the items don't have any video reviews on them. So Ill be working on some of those this week!

I agree with all the comments made above, I like see the squishy factor, bendy factor and comparing the item to common items like a pop can.

If a person says in their written review that the item is "squishy" that could be squishy like an eraser, or squishy like a sponge, or just a little give to it like a firm banana. The video reviews can show you just how much give the item have.

I thought there would be a Discussion Two!!!

The cons for some of the video reviews, is when the review moves TOO FAST!!!!!! There are quite a few video reviews where the member just moves way to fast for me to catch. When a person compares two items, I'd prefer to have them held there for a moment longer, showing all that is included in the box, when just flashed, doesn't help me.

So my biggest con, is as much as I love the video reviews, I would love to have them slow down a little when reviewing.

I agree with this! Theres been a few that I have seen that they zip through! Then they leave out tons of information. I was told that there are only allowed to be two videos per item....and I think some of these videos should be more closely monitored. I would much more prefer that a better video review be in place of one that wasn't as great. (Thats how I understand it anyways, Im not sure if that is true? with the two vids per item?)

I LOVE them. If there is one of a toy I want I watch it. But I only find them useful if there is sound. I've seen some videos where people just have music and captions and that isn't helpful to me if the toy is a vibrator because I want to hear it in action. I also like to see how flexible or firm something is.

I love video reviews, but written ones can be just as or even more informational, so doesn't matter to me, as long as I find out what I wanted to know I'm happy.
