I'd say no, don't risk public sex if you plan to do it anywhere where people are likely to accidentally come across you, especially a place where families and kids frequent. That's a big no.
For one, I don't like the idea of exposing any kids to myself by accident. I'd never forgive myself. Also, it wouldn't be right to expose ourselves to adults either. I wouldn't want to do that to anybody, especially if they were just trying to be out in public somewhere like a park and then ended up having to see me having sex or something. I'd feel terrible, and nobody should have to be exposed to stuff like that in public. Then there's the risk of police and all.
On the other hand, I've enjoyed myself many, many outdoor sex moments and it can be awesome as long as you pick your place wisely. Like they say, "location, location, location!"
I've done it at a waterfall thingy near my area -- it's beautiful and rarely anybody around unless it's during the early day time in Summer. It's a good choice though since it's located far into the woods and there's plenty of rocks and bushes to hide behind. Plus, you'd hear a car pulling onto the side of the road way before people walked up on ya.
I've also done it in our vehicles outside my partner's old house. His driveway was SOOO long that there was never a chance for someone to ever see or hear us. We'd sometimes just open the car door, and I'd lay on the passengar seat and he'd stand outside the door. Lots of fun.
We've also done it in secluded fields and other similar places -- in the car though. In our area, there's plenty of these safe areas to do it outdoors, so that's a big plus. If you have a lot of secluded empty spaces like that, it'd be wonderful to take advantage of those areas, but if it's to busy and public, I'd not risk it.

how public? lol public in general? or specifically outdoors? either way you can get creative about how and where in ways that will reduce or eliminate risks, based on what risks you are worried about.
i feel the same as Kendra about making sure not to somewhere family friendly.so if that's the main worry, think adults only places.like bathroom in a bar-but then there is still the worry of cops.

Nah! I personally don't like risk to my sex. Which isn't to say I don't like new and exciting things -- I just have to know I can take my time and be comfortable. Even if getting caught is a thrill, the consequences sure aren't, which I just can't get over.
