#EdenUpdate - New Homepage & Layout (do you like it?)

We just released an update today that has been in the works quite a while - An all new homepage and general layout.

We would really love to hear your feedback. What do you think? What do you like better? Is there anything you are having a problem finding?

Not really feeling like reading the entire thread, but is there anywhere on-site to access the DVD site? Very frustrating to have to search for a keyword, then find a porn, select it and go to the site (since a porn DVD site is not something I'm interested in having bookmarked since I 1., don't buy much and 2., have small children who use the computer). less

Since I do not know which thread is the official one, I am reposting our suggestions again:

There are some good ideas and improvements. However, these improvemenents are outweighted by a couple of crucial disadvantages
- Whole EF became very very slow and in some cases even not responsive (complicated page coding, etc.)! Just a notice: We use an optical connection and latest cutting edge hardware (i7 processor, 8GB ram) so it is definitely a case of the webpage design. We also tried a cellphone internet connection one time, and it took ages for the webpage to load.
- The layout is nice but it is not very practical (you have to browse through multiple javascript menus to get to the page you want - if you chat, contribute, and buy something, you have to browse through three menus)
- Log in using "floating window" does not work in Opera (you have to rightclick the option in the MyEden menu (fourth menu!) and then log in on a separate webpage).

It would be nice if there was an option to switch into "light" version (something like the mobile version but with a full functionality). Or second solution would be to improve the points we have mentioned.

You should at least hire some professionals to slightly alter the concept in terms of usability, accessibility, etc. Look for some UX specialists. And then some professional coders to get rid of those crazy scripts and layered design in favor of better CSS and XML.

I tried to present some constructive criticism, so please do not take it as some offense. Overall, I think that EdenFantasys is the best adult store and one of the best community server on the Internet . So lets make it the best in every aspect. less
