Hello everyone, I'm going to clarify a few things.
We are in the process of transitioning to a new and improved account system, which will utilize SHA-512 password hashing technology (better than Bitcoin) and use email address instead of ... more
This is good news, especially since you're doing it proactively, not in reaction to some security breach (like so many other businesses wait to happen before updating). What's also so nice about Eden is that we get the actual owner and higher ups coming onto the forum and telling us info like this, or discussing topics with us! I don't know where else you have this easy access to the company and on a consistent basis. So thanks for the update, Ilya!

Thank you for the kind words, we try to stay in touch with our customers as much as possible!
Yes, I too am very happy about these changes being made in a proactive manner. The digital world has been shaken up lately, we don't want to get on that train!

I do have a prompt on the login window to start using my e-mail to log in and to change my password once I do. Yet when I enter my e-mail address it says that it is not valid...so should I put in a support ticket for this?

Hello,

I looked into your case, this is a very specific one that was not as easy to transition. We have a small update coming out next week, you should be able to login with your email then. If you have further questions, you can direct them to me via PM.

I got the prompt when Heartbleed was rampaging across the interwebs, so I was a bit worried. after a few minutes of checking though it seemed like EF wasn't affected so I just updated passwords. It's probably been the same for years...

Nope! that one skipped by me. It's probably doing that due to the heartbleed virus.
