It helps me a lot in terms of keeping track of events I want to participate in. Thanks!

I also like that if the thread for the event is created, you can select the event and there's a link to the thread. It's a lovely way to keep up with the thread without marking it as a favorite; or finding it quickly if you've not seen the thread before.

Due to family obligations, I cannot participate in half, if not more, of the events listed so it's a minor annoyance that I collapse every time I come to the forum.

I like the fact that the calendar exists now because otherwise I wouldn't even bother trying to keep track of events. I don't check it all that regularly, but I think it's definitely a valuable reference tool

yup, I also love that when I log in I see what is happening today and because of that I have joined in with other events.

When the event descriptions link directly to the discussion thread it is really handy.

Thank you all for the feedback! This really helps us to know what is working for you. Are there any additional features or information that you would like to see included that is not already?

For me, it's just something else to scroll past. lol But I'm getting used to it.

I think the calendar is great. I need to rely on it more often. I rely on community roundups and then always forget to go to meetings. The calendar is a better reminder. Now I just have to work on checking it often.

I like the setup, and I think it's really well done... BUT it's kind of annoying to have to scroll through it to get to the "meat" of the forums every time. If there could be a "click to expand" type link, so that we could click on it each day to have our memories refreshed, but wouldn't have to scroll through the whole thing every time, I'd like it a lot better.

Or maybe let some contributors default it to 'collapse'?

(This isn't a big deal at all when I'm using a full computer with a mouse---but on a laptop, it's kind of annoying.)

If you minimize it with the little minus sign to the top left of the box, it stays minimized until you open it back up again

Dang, all kinds of little fixes that I just never found myself! Thanks for knowing the solution, Sam.

No problem! On my computer the calendar can sometimes take a while to load, which affects how long it takes me to get to the rest of the page, so I started minimizing it pretty soon after it went live

The calendar made the page difficult to load, so I minimized it and now I don't really care.

I wish that it would default to being minimized so that I could just open it when I wanted to see it, rather than minimizing it every time I visit the forum.

That's strange, because the default for me is being minimized. Try minimizing it, then going to another part of the site (say, "Reviews") and then come back to the EF Forum by clicking the link to it on that page. If it isn't minimized when you get back or when you come back to EF the next time, then that is definitely a bug that needs fixed.

If I minimize it, go to another page, then come back, it stays minimized. But if I log out and come back it's maximized again.

I do greatly appreciate all the work that went into the calendar, and the thoughtfulness of you all at Eden for putting it together and keeping it up to date. Unfortunately I find it to be way too big to be at the top of the forum page, and just keep it collapsed 99% of the time. Thank you all so much for such a great idea and feature. I would likely use it more if it was moved to its own page or made smaller, say a week at a time or so, so it doesn't take up the half the page when expanded. Thanks again!

I love it and it's the only place I check for events now! The fact that you can collapse it whenever you want and change the view style (week, month, agenda) make it all the better. Thanks for getting it up there!
