A lot of the premium anal lubes seem to be silicone based. If you use those, how do you clean up afterwards?

We have tried a few of the silicone based lubes lately. Used to use ONLY water based, due to TOYS. However, we like the feel of the silicone...if no toys being used (or if ONLY glass or metal), but the problem is these lubes seem to really leave a residue on the skin and even "inside". We are not sure how to clean that up. Seems like although we shower BEFORE anal play, we end up feeling like we need a long, hot, soapy shower afterwards too. While that might not be a BAD thing, the fact is, we like to nap sometimes, on a lazy day, and if we do, we worry about this silicone staining sheets, etc.

Anyone have any CLEANUP advice for using SILICONE lubes????

Thanks

We don't use a silicone lube because we have so many silicone toys.

I wish I could help you. I kind of fear using silicone, one because so many of our favorite toys are silicone (and I usually need a phallic vibe or dil in vaginally during anal sex. I'm not going to use a glass dildo for DP.) Two, because I fear the clean up. I get yeast infections really easily and I am a bit uncertain how to get all the stuff out of me. (I know it's anal, but lube sometimes drips down and I don't want to take a chance.)

I will probably try some silicone lube some day, but we really prefer Sliquid Ride H2O water based lubricant for anal sex and anal toys.
