Have you brought this idea up to her? That's probably a good place to start.

Definitely communicate and speak about your desires and feelings and discus what you both are comfortable with. Anal sex should be taken slowly and use plenty of lube especially if you are both new to it. Also there is a chance it will be a bit messy so be prepared for that and don't let it turn you both off to future anal experiences.

I would talk to her first about it and see where she stands on that. If she is willing and or wants to good for you guys

what does "the right time to save sex" mean? Is this the first time you'll be having sex at all? And everyone is different, but I recommend NOT starting out with penetration with a penis (or strap-on), both of you should try playing around with toys and fingers first.
