Okay, I know "anal fisting" is at the far end of the range of what people tend to do, and my reading the blogs here confirms this. However, for those of you who have, and can "successfully" do this, how often have you done it. Is this like a regular part of your sex life or a "once in a great while event"?

What makes you "in the mood" for this activity and do you "devote" the day to it, since it seems like a lot of time, relaxation and indeed, slow partners work, is involved?

We would also be curious, if you care to share, of how many people doing this regularly are "straight" vs "gay". We had a long discussion about this at our "Friday night dinner meeting". We also have two gay couples we are very close to, and whom we talk with openly, and they both feel this activity is pretty "extreme and out there" in the gay community too.
