Anal lube discomfort question

Contributor: Acdub Acdub
So I looked over the first page and saw some other lube posts but it was just general what do you use questions. We have Maximus, have tried sliquid and astroglide x. The first two(water based) cause a serious burning feeling inside me when my husband is trying to penetrate. Like horrible friction or heat. But he doesn't have to move for the sensation to be there. The astroglide x(silicone) didn't hurt but we have since lost the bottle. I was going to order more but I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. Especially since Maximus is so highly recommended.

So if you have my issue what do you use?

Maximus contains parabens which can cause a burning sensation if you are sensitive to them. However, I don't believe Sliquid contains parabens so I'm not sure what the issue is. It might help if you could name the specific lube since they have many.

My current choice for anal is to use Sliquid Ride: link

I have the same problem. Probe Thick and Rich works fine for me - no burning.
