I might be totally wrong, but this think didn't "stike me" as a "one of a kind". It was VERY finished, like furniture, but the display and "device" had the trappings of being "factory" produced. It may not be 100% custom, but handmade nicely-finished hardwood furniture with leather trim is expensive. Add on a no-doubt generous profit margin and I can see $4k, however I can't see spending $4k on one myself. It's sort of a fetish piece, for someone who not only likes anal but also likes the idea of having a ritualized anal experience and has the cash and space for a piece of special furniture.

There are a couple of surprises from your description as I see it - firstly you pointed out there's no way to get at the genitals easily. Seems it would be hard to stimulate the person lying on it. Secondly there doesn't sound like there's any provision for a guy lying on it to be penetrated comfortably , which seems a big omission (I guess if the padding is thick enough this could be OK). It sounds to me like you already know exactly how this piece of furniture is constructed, why don't you just build one yourself? You could easily build it using 2x6's for less than $70. You can pad the cross beam(also a 2x6) with pillow stuffing from walmart and if you do some shopping around, find vynal to cover the padding. Tac the covering to the beam with upholstry tacs, you can get them at any big box hardware store and they are very decorative. If you want genuine leather, just see a leathersmith for a big chunk.

In the end you're going to spend a fraction of what you're saying the bought one cost.

Picture a simple wood working saw horse, Four legs with a bar across the top. Cut the legs short, so someone can comfortably put their leg over the center bar and straddle the device.
