I know I have mentioned this before, but I don't think I ever asked if anyone else did it.

Years ago, I learned from a "professional" girl that she kept a middle fingernail trimmed down to the finger tip, allowing her to insert her finger anally into any guy she was performing oral on, and making him have a great time, while "greatly accelerating" the process ("time is money", was her quote).

I immediately took her tip and for years have kept my middle fingernail trimmed totally back. My nails are always very manicured (I tend to go with "French Nails") with just that one nail super short. Very few people have ever noticed or asked why.

My hubby knows, of course, and when he holds my hand or kisses my fingers, I know he greatly appreciates the effort I put in to being always ready to please him that way. It is a constant "in your face" reminder of my love and sexual prowess...for us both.

On the very few occasions when I wanted to look "more symmetrical" (a Black Tie affair for our work), I had my manicurist apply a stick on nail tip/extender and it looked fine, on that one finger).

Anyway, my simple question. Does anyone else do this? Does anyone here keep a finger "prepped and ready" for play?

This is probably completely off topic, but I have got to ask this as it's been burning in my soul for the last two years...

Do you two ever have PIV sex? It seems all of your posts are about anal. I'm just dying of curiosity over here. (I figured it was okay to ask since you never mind sharing the most intimate of details here.)

I don't trim my nails for anal but I keep nitril gloves and cotton balls in the bedside table and in a little kit in my purse just for this. Add a cotton ball to the tip of the finger of the glove and you have an easy clean up and a safe prostate probe of your very own!

I keep all my fingernails trimmed, filed, and buffed for this very reason. I’ve been on the recieving end of a rough nail and would never wish that on anyone else. - C

All of my nails are short and I try to keep them smooth. Likewise my wife gave up on long nails years ago, and all are trimmed and suitable for anal play.

Oh my....maybe it is just that PIV sex is kind of so....well...so average, I don't mention it in my posts. We "play" anal all the time, but probably 80% of our "sex" play has vaginal and oral as well. I just happen to find anal sex to be very "intense" and my hardest orgasms come from anal penetration along with him playing with my clit. Do I enjoy vaginal play? Oh heck yes. I enjoy all my hubby's activities all over my parts!!!! Oh...and since we have a child, I guess we did to it right at least once, right???!!!!

I only use one specific finger to penetrate my hubby..so that is the finger I keep trimmed. My husband has all his nails very, very trimmed. Years ago, I dragged him to get a mani and pedi and he has joined me every since. A lot of other professional men are there too, so it's no big deal now.

Okay....here you go. It was a horrible, rainy day. Pouring...cats and dogs...and maybe a llama or two. We had not a thing to do today. Shopping done, laundry done, aquarium cleaned, housekeeper was here yesterday, so house is clean. In short, we could just stay in bed, watch old movies and make love. Exactly what we did. Oh...and guess what? It was a nice, long, loving, leisurely love fest and it was 100% PIV. Didn't happen to go oral, or anal in fact. Ah okay! I really hope I didn't offend. I guess this is the first time I've really ever encountered a couple where anal sex was that enjoyable. Most people I've met are all like "it's alright, but I'd rather have PIV". So I was incredibly fascinated by your enthusiasm.

I just stumbled upon this "final observation" in this thread and had to laugh. That "it's alright" about anal sex? Nope...I am THAT "enthusiastic". I cannot help it. It is simply the most stimulating thing we do together. It results in the most intense orgasms for the both of us! I wish my wife had the same feelings towards it. She doesn't even like me touching her butt hole. When we started dating she let me have her ass a couple times and while I was experianced with it enough to know what I needed to do from a prior girlfriend who liked it, my wife didn't do her part to make it enjoyable. I know now she just didn't want to enjoy it, so naturally she didn't.

I'd never thought of that before, but I've also never played with a man that way, but I have been played with in that way. I kind of hope to start with my man, if he's down for it.

I do, however, try to keep most of my other nails trimmed down or else I scratch my poor darling up to the point of bleeding. Most of the time, my nails are gnawed down to nothing anyway, but sometimes they grow out and he gets hurt, haha.

It's not just a matter of short, it's a matter of very smooth and manicured. I use one of those six way smoothing sticks to really keep my nail slick, healthy and "handy" for play! He really appreciates it, and let's me know too!

Did you see the poll I posted about that? So far, more woman say they like it equal to vaginal sex, rather then only one, so far, that said they just do it to please their lover. In short, there seem to be more fans who really enjoy anal here then you might think!
