Can putting things in your but end up giving you an infection or lead to prostate cancer?

I try to make sure things are clean before going in there but I am wondering if these things happen?

While nothing is absolute as long as you are using anal safe toys, paying attention to what your body is telling you and using body safe lubes there should be no problems.

I think the biggest concern would be to much pressure to the prostate and tears/abrasions to the anus and rectum. Once again, paying attention to your body and what it tells you will save you much grief.

Tim is the expert! I will occasionally give my anal toys an alcohol wipe to disinfect. After 5 years of anal play - no issues with pain, infection or bleeding.

If you tear your intestine then yes, you probably will get a very nasty infection (if this happens don't wait to see what happens - go to the doctor).

If you're careful and reasonably clean (I wash my toys after use with soap and water, and I'm convinced that's "reasonably clean") there shouldn't be a problem from them.

If you bruse your prostate or other internal organs you can have problems.

AFAIK there's no link between anal play and cancer, and there isn't any likely way that anal play will cause the genetic damage necessary to cause cancer. I would be careful about the chemicals on things I put up there, though - stick to silicone, glass, metal, or hard plastic and safe lubes so you don't get any carcinogens up there.

An infection, sure if it full of germs, prostate cancer, highly doubt it.
