Curved Penis and Anal

Contributor: celibacysucks celibacysucks
My current partner has a large, curved penis. He's told me he wants to do anal sex with me and I am a little intimidated. First, I find vaginal sex with him uncomfortable due to the curve of his penis. Will anal be worse? I've only attempted anal once and it was so painful I never tried again.

Informative topic breakdown of Anal Sex:

Are you scared to try anal sex?
I'm a bit hesitant to try anal sex. I just can't see it being any fun. Are you the same way?

Finally had anal sex successfully!
Since I joined Eden I have asked questions and discussed it fairly often here on the forums. Finally tonight though, we were able to have anal sex...

Working up to anal sex
I have had anal sex a few times in the past and it has been extremely painful and unpleasant for me. I'm looking for a product (or kit) that would be.

If you think anal sex is going to happen during a sex session, do you try to have a BM prior to that, even if you feel you "don't have to go"?
Do you make a specific attempt to empty your bowel, even if you don't have any urge to go right then?

I'd say the first thing to do is find out a way to enjoy vaginal. If you're anxious going into anal with him because you know vaginal is uncomfortable you're setting yourself up for failure. Don't move into anything new that you're worried about until you find a way to enjoy what you're doing already. Try different positions, relaxation exercises, whatever.

Other than the basic recommendations for working up to buttplay with a large toy or penis (look at some of the other threads for these), the curve means that anal sex will be more comfortable if you match the curve of your rectum to the curve of his penis. Look at an anatomy book or website. While I'd like to be able to point you to one of my blog posts that would answer your questions, I don't have one . The closest I can get is here link, with a few pictures, but you might be better off checking out link or link (while the last site is targeted towards gay men there is good information for anyone on this page, though if you're trying to get a reluctant spouse who thinks anal play is "gay" to let you play with his ass it's probably not the best place to start).

Sometimes anal can be easier than vaginal but it depends on a lot of factors. If you aren't comfortable and relaxed, anal can be a real challenge and can turn a couple off to it. Take your time and focus on the enjoyment and experimentation. It can be fun to try new things so don't rule it out after the first bad experience. My wife cut my off from the back door for years but now she can't get enough anal.
