In short, have you ever had an intelligent, non-sexual time, discussion about what lubes to use, or what did or didn't feel good...etc, when completely away from the activity?

We do sometimes, but, again, we are a very odd couple, I guess.

Sometimes I use different candy when doing oral on my hubby and we had a full on discussion of which candy I like the feel of in my mouth, and he was telling me which felt better to him, and why...and all this was on a two hour car ride. (Interestingly, it was so intellectual and factual, neither of us got "horny" discussing the issues. Odd even for us!!!

Anyone else have these "sex discussions" away from sex time?

On a long car trip one time I brought up anal sex and trying to get my wife to try it with me. I was ultimately unsuccessful, but I did put in a good effort, and we did talk about it for a while.
