Is it true there is a smell?

Contributor: irishlove irishlove
Someone told me when they use an anal plug an his girl and move it in & out a little, he can smell what he thinks it smells like in her behind. Not on the product itself, like a smell in the air. Is this true? Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive never experienced this. Then again I normally fully clean myself out before using toys or putting anything back there.

I've never experienced it either, but it would depend on the person and the toy.

Well, if the girl has not made sure her colon is clear, there can be feces back there, and the possibility of a smell...

I really want to try some sort of anal play with my boyfriend but this story makes me nervous.
Sinfully-What do you mean you fully clean yourself out? Do you use something to do this or do you mean but make sure you use the restroom before?

ha... sounds like she might have tooted.

haven't noticed a smell with us. unless someone toots. which can happen!

we have anal pretty often, i never douche back there, or take extra care to clean it out or go to the bathroom before hand. never had a problem.

there IS the occasional problem of some doodoo on the peepee. it happens. thats what wet wipes beside the bed are for. and honestly, sex is pretty gross and dirty. i mean, your spit and sex juices aren't much more sanitary. so if you can be mature about it and move along, cool. if it totally grosses you out anyway, maybe take some precautions such as douching or going potty beforehand. however, be careful with douching because i've read it will only cause you to have a bowel movement several minutes later.
