We just did a "sort and toss" of outdated lubes from our bedroom and realized we only use Gels now. We have pretty much stopped using any "watery" lubes...for any reason, actually.

What do you prefer for anal play?

For anal, it’s gels only. Both K and I have had anal with the watery styles and the gels are simply more comfortable and longer lasting. The one exception we’ve recently discovered was Bad Dragon’s Cum Lube. It’s not a gel but it is still pretty thick so it’s a great go between. - C

Hum...Never heard of "Bad Dragon". Going to look that up. Thank you. I expected more answers, but honestly, we enjoy Gel for most everything now.
What is it about the Bad Dragon that you like? What do you do with it that you don't do with Gel???

We’ve only used it twice now but both the wife and I really enjoy it. BDCL is the closest to actual cum that we’ve found. Having felt and observed my own cum untold times, I can attest that it is very similar to me at least. Here is a pretty good review of it here. - C

there's a product called "anal lube". that's closer to a gel.

THANK YOU for the link and the suggestion. Being close to Cum does not make it a good lube, however. But if you say it works nice, we are always on the lookout for great anal lubes. We will give this a try. Thanks again.

We used Astroglide years ago, but it seemed a bit thin and I think it had in it all those "no, no" chemicals everyone frets about here, doesn't it? I may need to go back and check it out. Thanks

I use Astroglide gel it is thick I does not irritate me it lasts a long time and I can pick it up at my local drug store and it is inexpensive.

Gel fo sho. I hate that watery mess. Plus, the gel provides a wall of friction protection that water lube just doesn't.

gel is by far the best for me for anal, longer lasting and has a more slippery effect

We have taken to using coconut oil for everything! It melts at body temperature, edible and antibacterial - and it costs next to nothing compared to most OTC lubes!

I've never used a gel or watery lube. I just use virgin coconut oil. You'll never have to throw that away because you'll be using it till it's gone!
