My guess is that most respondents will use smaller toys, but those that like big toys will probably be biased more towards the men. Men tend to go "bigger is better" more often then women, and we also have prostates that a big toy can make very happy.

I only have one that fits in thick and long, the Eleven. My other big toys, the Big Boy and Severin are not that long. With the Eleven I can not thrust a whole lot but it is nice. I like something in the 1 1/2" dia. range so I can thrust with it more. Funny part, my favorite is the Gold Laced G. It is only 1" dia. but the texture and slight curve are heavenly.

What "gape" are you referring to? If you are talking about a permanent stretch, that is a myth and does not happen. After a big toy my ass goes right back to its same old self withing a few minutes.

My boyfriend and I own a Feeldoe and an Icicles No. 8. The Icicles is best for him, and it's a bit thinner and smoother than the Feeldoe, which I do also use on him often, and it's only a tiny bit too big and he adjusts well. I think both genders like it big toys bigger, just that more men talk about, but I could be wrong, sometimes it does seem like men do like bigger anal toys a bit more than woman, not by much though.

as for what I like, like the post above me, depends what I'm in the mood for.
if I want to be stretched and filled, a plug thats short (no more than 5") and girthy. if I want to strengthen my muscle and/or masturbate, a probe with 1.5-2" diameters suit just fine, length doesn't matter much to me when probing as long as its under 8".
