Some women apparently are fascinated and fixated with everything anal. Weather it's theirs being penetrated or played with or them playing or penetrating (with dildo, strapon or fingers) their partner's. My girl comes in an instant when it comes to anal. Weather she's getting hers played with or playing with mine. Just the mention of anal play turns her on. So why the fascination?

Liking something doesn't make it a sex fetish necessarily, and I'm not sure that this really qualifies as a fetish in most instances. Perhaps someone with more experience/education can chime in?

True, in this particular case it is indeed a fetish. It is needed in order to get stimulated (turned on). It is also a visual turn on.

no problem, just curious. Most fetishes are found in men and typically there's something in childhood for the fixation. Just wondering if women here had a clue how they got fixated?

Actually, psychologically, a "Fetish" is a sexual interest so strong that the fetishist cannot become aroused or come to climax UNLESS the fetish is present.

Also, some thing qualify and some don't. A woman needing her clitoris stimulated is NOT a fetish (although Freud might have thought so) someone NEEDING high heeled shoes near his or her face in order to become stimulated or climax is a fetish.

Sometimes when something is relatively new to one's sex life, one can become fixated on it for a while, almost to the exclusion of other things, but it's only a fetish if it is necessary for arousal and climax.

I definitely enjoy back door play, but I don't have a fetish for it by any means. Although one of my favorite bedroom activities is getting my ass eaten, feels so good! Whether it be anal toys, anal fingering, rimming (<3) or anal sex, it's all likely to make me scream. I have wondered before why or how this is, after all - physiologically it makes sense for males to get off on it, but for women it isn't so obvious. I have almost the same situation! I like anal play, but not a ton. I definitely prefer vaginal play over anal play.

It definitely turns me on to think of playing anally with my hubby. The most he has let me try is a finger, and he didn't like it, so that has only happened once. I would love if I could use toys on him or a strap on, or even just continue with the finger, but he just isn't interested.

Well, we've talked about it a lot. I have brought it up often.

My man is so anal about anal I have been with him almost 6 years and have never SEEN his anus! So it's out of the question that I even insert a finger let alone stroke it gently.

I respect his wishes but hope one day he will come around.

He told me would never do rimming but he did it once so I brought up anal stim for him and he refused again.

I leave it alone now. It will have to come from him if he wants it bcs I don't want to push him into it. I love him and I don't want to get too naggy.

Well see that's where things are different in my situation. My hubby doesn't care at all that I see his anus. Lol. He loves being naked and loves to put his butt very close to my head and spread his cheeks to pass gas. Lol. So yeah, I have seen it, he just doesn't like me touching.

I agree, for me it's more of a fixation than a fetish. I enjoy it, but can live and most certainly get off without it.
