This is something I've been wondering about for a while. Do you always know when you squirt? Can you actually feel it, or does it just happen without you feeling it release? I guess I'm so conditioned to what I've seen in porn that I expect to see a spray. Does it really do that, or is it much more subtle gush of wetness?

I've been trying to decide if I am doing it and don't realize it, or not. That may sound silly, but there are times that I am totally drenched, but there's no sensation of it, no spraying, etc. I suspect I'm not and am trying to figure out how to do it, but I'm interested in others' experiences.

I definitely don't always know I'm doing it. Hell, I was squirting for a few months during oral before I knew. He was afraid I'd stop if he told me, and he thinks it's the hottest thing ever. Now, a year later, if I'm specifically planning on trying to squirt or I'm watching for it, I notice it before the wetness hits us, but usually it catches me by surprise.

I definitely don't spray like a garden hose. I usually do notice it now as I'm doing it not always. The orgasm feels a certain way but I don't really feel the liquid coming out if that makes sense?

I feel a build-up prior to ejaculation but I am not totally aware of the exact second of my release. I have never had a "porn type gush" but it has been strong. For me, hydration is the key. When I am hydrated...I let go. I don't mean not peeing prior to sex. Too much alcohol minimizes hydration, including beer. Of course my g spot has to be stimulated.
I usually "feel it" after it happens, the wetness is evident.

I'm reading the best book (Female Ejaculation & The G-Spot) by Deborah Sundahl. She thinks that most women do ejaculate, but not all are aware of it. I think you most likely are. I highly recommend reading this book. She give tons of tips and info.

I'm with you on that, not exactly sure if I'm doing it or not. My boyfriends quite taken with all the squirting in porn so hes convinced that's the only way it come out

Guess we'll keep working on it and hope he gets his show. Maybe I'll make him read that book Crystal Girl suggested though, then he won't be so darn expectant.

Most of the time, I gush more like a faucet; I can feel the streams of fluid going down my ass cheeks, and pooling below me. However, sometimes it squirts straight out like you see in porn, though that is not as common. That only happens once in a while, and usually it's when I'm jerking myself off and using my pure wand. I also have to be really horny/desperate to come.

With a partner, 98% of the time it does the "gushing" thing more often than the "squirting" thing. I can do it on command (squirting in general, not choosing if I want faucet or waterpik), but it requires me to push it out. I don't always feel the squirting though. The easiest way for me to tell is to look below me when I'm done. The wet spot totally gives me away.

For me I usually don't realize it when it's happening. It is during an orgasm but not all orgasms produce wetness. And I can't tell when it's going to happen either. All I know is everything gets very wet. And it is more of a whoosh than squirting. I do have to say that after a squirting orgasm I feel more satisfied. Like there is more of a release to it. If that makes any sense.

Squirting for me involves what I would call, an intense orgasm....that involves my entire pubic area and even my thighs and legs. When I ejaculate using a toy esp. the Pure Wand or the Eleven by NJoy, I feel the build up but not the actual ejaculation.
During intercourse, I am even less aware of squirting....it doesn't happen all the time, but the evidence is there when he withdraws. He says he doesn't actually "feel" me squirting when he is penetrating me and thrusting. A vibe also on my cilt helps.

I generally only squirt during sex when I know I'm not going to have sex for a while, like BF being gone for a week or two. I normally get embarrassed by it, and while I'm stripping off the sheets to clean up I'm terrified that I just wet myself. BF is always nice about it, he doesn't love it or anything, but he likes knowing he did a good job.
On the other hand, when I masturbate in the shower, it happens quite easily and actually feels better than when it happens during sex. This is probably just because there's no anxiety of someone else being there.
In my experience if I gush I've had a better orgasm than if I spray, but that's just me.

Hmmm, this is an interesting conversation! I have wondered myself if I ever squirted. I guess if I have then I don't know it. Now that I think about it there was this one time when I just got super wet all of a sudden, my partner told me it was like a waterfall so I'm assuming that was one! I do know that once we get into it and I have my first orgasm it just gets better and better after that! So do you guys (girls) think that it feels better with the squirting? Squirting for me is a "bonus", doesn't happen all the time and with me anyway, I need an orgasm prior to ejaculation. Many times I don't feel it at the time but the evidence of my wetness is there. A squirting orgasm just feels so much more intense and satisfying to me.

I've only squirted once, that I know of. And I was using a vibrating dildo. I think for me it's the double stimulation of my clit and my G spot. But when it happened I didn't really feel it so much as feel the wetness, but I did feel a build up and a much bigger "relief" afterwards than with my normal orgasms. They're much, much more intense.

It's exactly the same for me - the dual stimulation is how I get there and the more intense release and tons of wetness is how I know it's happening. And the tension in my abdomen is way more intense.

My overall experience is about he same...I have never had a projectile squirt as seen in some porn. I think it is actually peeing in porn anyway. But I do end up with considerable wetness.
