Is anyone taking hormonal birth control and noticed a change on their sex drive? How about on their actual experience of sex? Specifically, I think my birth control is putting a real damper on my sex drive!

Yes, I was on one that really upset me hormonally and it really wrecked mine for a while. I can't get off if I'm very depressed. I had to switch to a different one.

I think it's heightened mine! I have often heard that it would damper it, but I don't think it's had that affect on me. I kinda wonder what will happen after I stop taking it (if ever).

after about 2 years the pill made me depressed and then the depression decreased my sex drive.

I believe it is the reason I am not easily physically aroused anymore, even though I am always thinking about sex. My body just doesn't usually get the memo that I am horny and want to have sex. Thank god for lube.
