How long have you ABSTAINED from SEX?

I have read so much in various Discussions and Polls here in the community about how we love sex! It is like we can’t get enough of it or we are engaged in it almost daily! I would like to reverse the question and ask, how long have you abstained from SEX and MASTURBATION? It seems to me that after a period of abstinence (including self-masturbation), that the sex is even more intense and erotic.

There was a movie call "40 Days and 40 Nights" (2002) about a San Francisco dot-com web designer Matt Sullivan (Josh Hartnett) who vowed to abstain from sexual activity and contact (including self-gratification) for 40 days and nights for Lent. I actually just realized today that it's been almost a year since I've had partnered sex (I went through a bad breakup & am not the type do casual flings & still don't feel emotionally capable with trying a relationship again) & six months since I've even kissed anyone!

But I'm a bit of a masturbation addict & I think the longest I've ever been without touching myself is 9 days. I start getting overly stressed & get to the point where I can't think about anything but sex constantly if I don't do it at least once every other day. less
