I have been a life-long fan of the squirting female. I haven't much personal experience with it, aside from 2-3 partners, (not including my current). I have watched it on video whenever I have found footage of it and have read stories and testimonies aplenty on the matter.
I have seen quite a few videos is which the event is described; normally just showing how it is done, explaining the sensation, and depicting many different results...anything from a single huge blast, to multiple huge blasts, to a slow leak that is barely visible.

One thing I have came across the most is that the event is signified by a sensation of having to pee, and that one should abstain from the urge to contain themselves and just let it happen. Further on it is said that it isn't pee, but it is not clear if it is something that happens only when the girl has an orgasm because I have seen girls squirt when they announce they are going to come, they scream, they buckle, they squirt....and also I have seen girls squirt upon some extensive stimulation, but keep a straight face and don't seem to be having an orgasm at the time.

I would also like to know....if it isn't pee, then why does it have the tangy acidic taste to it, and a similar smell?

With some women, that's about as close as you get. Some women can shoot it out, some women have gushes of liquid that mostly just leak out, and some women can't do it at all. However, I seem to be in the category that can't do it, at least for now, so my advice might not be very helpful. You could try asking Tuesday, she seems to have a pretty good handle on squirting and all things kegel related.

Squirting comes in many forms. As Sam said, there are gushes, streams and leaks. I have done all of the above. And multiple, too. The times that I want to really get my husband excited I spray everywhere, I take it through orgasm, and keep going to a second one almost immediately. I think I will always, always, always wonder about it this. No matter how much I empty my tank ahead of time, it seems that certain types of stimulation result in a clear liquid from the urethra - it seems like urine to me, yet I keep being assured that it's not. Yet supposedly it's not supposed to be clear. I think my body just likes messing with me.

Wish I had some advice of my own to give, but I'm just as lost as you, it seems.

The hydration thing we are still working on. She only drinks Coke when we have it, and tea when I make it...though I have been getting her to drink more water lately.

I am not sure if emptying the tank is supposed to be done prior, and as for the clarity or other characteristics...I am not certain on that either.
Just a fem moments ago we had a short romp in the sack, and she seemed to squirt some.
It starts as a leaking/dripping which has a white cloudiness to it, at which point I usually speed up my finger work which brings on squirting which only lasts a few seconds at this point it either is totally clear or has a yellow tinge to it.

Is making her squirt that important to you? Why can't you let it happen naturally, if she squirts on one session it's great, if she didn't, maybe she will the next time. I personally have never squirted (I think), and while I'm happy for others who have this capability, it's no biggie to me.

It isn't a frustration I alone feel. My girlfriend was so happy the first time it happened, and was very proud she was able to.
The last few times we went into the technique which yielded positive results the first few times and it did not happen, she was pretty upset.
I have been trying to find advice from others, to see if maybe there was a thing or two that one of us, or both of us are doing or not doing which could help.

Men like the whole squirting thing. Sometimes they feel insecure about it almost. Have you tried oral sex along with fingering or using a toy which hits her G Spot? I don't really squirt myself (the glands which help women squirt were removed when I had surgery years ago) but I dribble some at times. Wait wait wait, you're asking how to change the pressure of the stream? It sounds like your wife IS squirting, but you'd rather see her spray than leak?

If that's the case, she may just be a gusher/leaker and not a sprayer. I gush, but it can get some distance if I'm having a really intense orgasm.
