I have the same problem about being picky. Most porn just doesn't do it for me and. Lot of it is just terrible in general. It takes me so long to find a decent video that I'd rather not bother.

Reading kinky erotica is my absolute favorite. Obviously just like there's bad visual porn, there's also bad writing, but it's either to weed through the crap and there are a lot of good authors on the Internet. And no buffering time if you have a slow Internet connection like I do which is also a bonus! Haha. Visually, there are a lot of things that I hate (annoyingly fake porno moans, anyone?) but in writing things can be more vague and can be substituted with imagination.

Some writers take existing kinks of mine and write them well and it gives me new ideas for play. Or I read something that I normally wouldn't think about just for the hell of it and end up with brand new fantasies.

It varies and I multi task quite a bit. Sometimes I'll start by dressing up in lingerie and take pics/vids of myself, usually gets me turned on an wet as a start.
