It's possible for me, but it sometimes depends on the day and other things. Sometimes if I get a good flow going, I can. Others I can hold it for awhile, but any movement throws me off. I don't choke so much as just need to breathe. I have to time my breaths and deepthroats just right to make it work. And I can't even go as deep as some ladies. It took me a while (a few years if I think about it, I think, it's been a long time since I started) to learn how to do it. You have to open up and relax your throat like when you have to swallow a huge pill. I keep my tongue in my mouth, even though I have little gag reflex, I will gag if I keep my tongue flat and out. Although I can lick his balls, but I am not sure how I do it. I don't keep my tongue out when deep throating. Everyone has to figure out the right way to do it for their own body reflex. You can overcome your gag reflex, but most people have to work on it.
I never practiced on a dildo or a shampoo bottle or a cucumber or any of the things I have heard about people practicing on. These things are very different than the male penis and they don't respond to your actions, nor to they usually vary in firmness from second to second. I have found practicing on a real live man the easiest way. Of course, if he's on board with helping you practice (NO head pushing!) it's the best way to do it.
