I've always been against it since I don't find it particularly arousing and feel like it's degrading.

If you really hate a lot of commonly enacted sexual practices, there is probably some work to do in the relationship. But, everyone has a right to their likes and dislikes.
Obviously, a lot of people, male and female enjoy facial come shots. Not knowing why someone likes it is either a lack of experience or simply a personal preference.
