My significant other hasn't had many orgasms from oral either, and I've learned why... Whenever he's close, the person always changes something, like, how their hand is, the pattern of their tongue or sucking, whatever.

Wow! I thought my partner was the only man out there who had a similar thing with this. He doesn't get much pleasure from oral or hand jobs and never has! I don't mind though, he still really enjoys it, but we've spent so much time and only to end up with me having raw lips! Lol. He says he doesn't think it's worth it. I've never had an orgasm via oral sex. In my case, I suspect it has been an issue with being with...well...less than skilled partners, but at this point it's entirely possible I've formed a complex about it and it will simply never happen.
