Here's the thing. I wouldn't mind giving hubby oral, but it is just so dang painful for me. I currently do it for him about once or twice a week, and knowing that it is uncomfortable for me, he generally tries to keep it short unless it seems that I'm enjoying it. (Note, he doesn't force me to, I want to.)

Now, I get chronic tension headaches that start in the back of my neck and shoulders and work their way around. Yep, same muscles used for giving oral or supporting myself during oral. See where I'm going with this? It is always *at least* uncomfortable, but I don't want it to be!

Is there something I'm missing? Some position I just haven't tried that would make it awesome? Help me out here.

Here's what we've tried: me kneeling (he doesn't like it), 69 (ok if we're both in the mood for it, but somewhat awkward), lying side-by-side (all sorts of awkward), and the one we do most, him lying down with me either between his legs or off to his side (so we form a T).

Okay so this is kind of hard to describe, but have you tried laying on your back on a bed, with your head off the edge, while he stands? It sounds weird but it really opens up your throat, and since he'd be doing all the movement (thrusting) it might not be as rough on your neck/shoulders. I hope you find a solution, best of luck!

Like with my head upside down? That sounds...dizzying, maybe? Worth a shot, though.

I actually usually let my husband control the oral, which works because the position is more comfortable and it plays into my submissive side. I lay on my side facing him. He kneels facing toward me. That gives him the control of the thrusting and depth of penetration, but also means I'm bobbing around a lot less. If you would be comfortable giving your guy the reins on those things, it's a great position in terms of neck comfort. I never get sore from that position and we go for long stretches.

In relation to his body, yes. I know it sounds weird but from what I've seen it's recommended for people trying to get into deep throat/oral. It definitely works for me!

I agree with Kira let him control the oral and you place yourself in a comfortable position. The alternative would be for you to get a sex toy that simulates oral and you use it on your husband.

Try sitting and having him stand in front of you so you don't have to strain your neck/back. I don't know if it will be more enjoyable for him or not, but try it and see? My hubby loves 45 minute bj's and I am usually sore and knotted up afterward too..
