I couldn't actually put my tongue on someone's butt, and don't really ask for it done to me. Been there though & I worried about it being too risky as well. I suppose there is an element of risk involved, but I think we have that same risk with most things. Think about everything your hands touch in a day. Do you really wash your hands before EVERY time they go near your mouth? I highly doubt it. We bite our nails, pick at our teeth, etc. with dirty hands all the time. Germs are everywhere.

That being said, I won't do it unless my husband has just showered, but does the 'risk' prevent me from doing it? No, it doesn't.

I can totally see how it would be a health risk, but you can always clean your partner's butt ahead of time (shower/wipes/whatever ), or use a barrier.
