While I agree with a lot of these responses, what popped into my head when I read the topic was "The Fist." So that is the toy I immediately think of when I think about a toy I will NOT try.

Oh yes! I'm a bit picky and cautious about my toys.
There are several materials/ingredients that I avoid, such as jelly, rubber, and phthlates.
There are types of toys that I'm not interested in and/or don't know how to safely use like rabbit vibes, electro-stimulators, floggers, urethral sounds, etc.
I have size limits due to being recently deflowered and having vaginismus, so I won't try anything that would result in me tearing myself.
Then there are specific toys that get the side eye from me, for various reasons; Icicles No 12, Touche masturazor, Lelo's entire Insignia and PicoBong lines, Jimmyjane's Little Chromas, and any and all of those disembodied torsos, for starters.
