Bedroom Temperature?

Contributor: MeliPixie MeliPixie
Hey guys, I have a question about the temperature in your bedroom before, during, and after sex. We keep it at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit, which for me is kind of pushing it anyway, I'm very heat sensitive but he gets sick if he gets cold. During sex though, we both get quite warm and sweaty, and one of us stops to turn the fan on. Then we leave it on all night most nights, until one of us (usually him) gets chilled and gets up to turn it off.

My question is, what temperature do you keep your bedroom at, and do you require it to be cooler, or at least circulating, during sex? And do you both agree on a temperature, or is one of you settling?

We usually have it kind of warm during sex but with a fan on for circulation. Otherwise we like it kind of on the cool side.

We usually have a heater on because I get so cold after sex.

Ours is kind of a gray area. I would ideally like mine to be between 70 and 75. However since we're over the garage and under the attic and on a corner the temperature of the bedroom largely depends on the outside temperature. During the winter it hovers around 60, and during the summer it bounces between 75 and 95. On the warm nights we definitely need air circulating, but when it's cooler we're bundled under the blankets. I like having it colder to sleep, but warmer to do everything else, and he doesn't seem to care much either way.

For actual sleeping, we turn the temp down to 59 otherwise, it is about 68. I am not a fan of heat at all.

If after sex we are too warm, the temp goes down and the ceiling fan goes on.

My boyfriend would probably like it somewhat warmer, overall.

I prefer my bedroom to be warm. During normal sleeping, I keep the bedroom around 67 degrees. During sex I prefer it a little warmer, around 71 degrees. I enjoy summer months because then we can just keep the windows open and at night the room stays around 75 degrees.

My husband would probably have it cooler if he had the choice.
