Nope. It's completely inaccurate for me. Totally and utterly wrong. I would not want a supposed "A"-range penis anywhere near my vagina. WAY too big.

That chart honestly looks like an insult to a lot of men with perfectly lovely penises. It's not the size, it's what you do with it. And how hard you can keep it, for how long. And, most importantly, what kind of human being you are.

Really, there is absolutely no way to say what the "ideal" is sexually for all, or even most women.

I totally agree. I have been with small men and hated it and I have been with large men and hated it. With the small guys it's like they feel they are already at a loss and don't try, with the large guys they feel all they need to do is thrust and tear up your vagina and you'll LOVE it...uh no thanks! It really depends on the individual.

There isn't much info with that chart so I'm not sure how they got their info.

These numbers are totally skewed. I might have agreed with them as a younger woman,
but even then average size was awesome. The chart doesn't take into account emotional factors which outweigh size. I'll take a big brain or a sense of humor (esp. on a first born Virgo male) over a big peen any day.

I didn't read through the mountain of text that went with the chart to see how they came up with these numbers. Maybe someone who did can provide enlightenment about that.

The 6 1/2 inch circumference and 8 inch length they call ideal would be difficult to accommodate now and most likely painful now that post-menopause smallification has started.

The ideal size is a peen whose dimensions match the length and width of your vagina.

I dunno. I've had lovers of different sizes, and my fiance, who is smaller than my previous partner, is still able to satisfy me. I think there is a lot more that factors into it than penis size.

I think we can all agree to call BS on this "Ideal Penis Size" chart. Especially in light of this little mansplanation:

"it's a fact of life that the average woman deep down instinctively prefers a larger than average penis."

If you're gonna make a claim like that, and assemble a chart like this, you gotta cite your peer-reviewed, major journal research.

I may like my dildos to be larger than the average penis, but generally, I like actual penises to be... average! I have sex for a much longer time than I EVER jack off; I can tolerate and enjoy a large silicone dick for the 10-15 minutes max I spend playing with a dildo, but for an hour of sex? I'd be ripped to SHREDS. Thanks, I'll take a nice, average-sized penis please. And a hell of a lot of size "issues" can be forgotten if I'm in love and he's good in bed.

The guys I've liked best are in the "average" range according to every "average" chart I've seen, and sadly I think a lot of people think of that as "small". One guy I was with even had a minor complex about it; he was really tall and felt like there was something wrong with him for having an "average" penis. He was an INCREDIBLE lover.

The best penis is the one attached to the man I love. It helps that he's not circumcised, that he's a perfect size for me, and that he's got awesome hardness and stamina (neither of which the biggest guys I've been with shined at) -- but the most important thing is that he's him.

i completley agree. ive been up and down the chart size and size is defenetly not as important as what your able to do with it.

My partner is an average size, 6.5 inches long, but his penis has this little curve to it that hits my g-spot so nicely, however, it still takes a while to get the whole thing in...It's a tight fit, I can't imaging having sex with a larger penis!

I'm not sure exactly where they are getting their numbers from. In a position that allows for maximum insertion, the "ideal" penis has almost 7" inserted in the vagina, assuming that they truly are measuring "usable" length. That would probably hit the cervix in most women, based on what I've seen written in large dildo reviews. The circumference measurements translate into a cylinder slightly over 2" in diameter. Strangely enough I've seen few women truly like dildos that big - and the chart goes up from there...

Granted, a penis has a bit more "squish" than most dildos, but it should be closer that the chart appears.

I agree! I perfer smaller, honesty. I don't have to worry with pain at all. I think a man did this chart just to get an ego boost!

I'm on the small side myself and bigger does NOT make any sense to me! Smaller and smaller ='s out in my book.

They're trying to sell "penis enhancement" products. Of course their goal would be to make perfectly normal men feel inadequate. I've said it before, size DOES make a difference but it's by NO means the only factor, let alone the most important factor for good sex.

As others have said, this chart is ridiculous. Just another example of the penis-enlargement industry trying to make the vast majority of guys feel inadequate with their perfectly normal equipment.

What makes me sick is that this kind of bigger-is-better bias is so pervasive in our society that it often makes me somewhat insecure and unhappy with my own size, which is right on top of the bell curve. Never mind that my wife insists that I'm borderline too big for her comfort, I want to measure up to the porn stars, dammit!

It would be funny if it weren't so sad...

Looks like the ideal penis size is very large. At between 7 1/4 - 8 1/4 in lenght and 6 1/4 and 7 1/4 in circumference would put that person in the 99 % tile. Very few people have penises that size. The average lenght is 5.1- 5.9 in lenght and 4.91. as the average circumferance.

I posed this question to a lady friend and she stated that she has made love to two guys that had 13 inch penises and 5 that had 10 inches. I find that hard to believe...but if true there are statistical anomolies out there. But I'm guessing the ideal penis size stated is possessed by very few men.

Maybe one in ten have more than 7 inches in lenght and one in thousand have more than 6 inches in girth. And one in a million has 7 1/4 in girth.

Wow this chart is kinda screwed. My screw buddy's penis, which is verrrry nice, actually falls into the A range, being 19 cm long and 16 1/2 cm in circumference, but my hubby's, which is also verrrry nice, falls into the E range. :/
