I suppose I should start: we mainly use it as an excuse to dress up because we like seeing each other in sexy clothes that we otherwise wouldn't wear. We sometimes kind of start role playing, but neither of us are actors so that kind of falls by the wayside. Plus I think we both want to be having sex with the other person and maybe feel a bit like too much role play would be like we're pretending to be other people.

On the other hand we don't just have cheaply sex shop costumes, we have proper ones we could potentially wear to a fancy dress party, like an actual nurses dress, a butler's uniform and so on.

As for what it adds, we'll it's just fun mostly! She does look really sexy in the various outfits and I like dressing up too but neither of us would be unable together aroused without it.

I have a lot of costumes and he has a few as well. We love to play!

I've gotten my wife to peg me a few times. She doesn't really pretend to be a man - but in another way, she must to make it work. The only other role-play we do is light bondage with restraints and impact play with a crop or paddle - very light, but we enjoy it without pain.

One former lover sprung Daddy/Daughter on me and to be honest it sort of creeped me out. I did a poor quality Daddy that time. I subsequently got better at it and eventually sort of got into it. It was not something that I would have ever initiated, but after knowing that partner liked/wanted it, I did so when the timing seemed right.

We don't role play. We just don't get into it.

I would love to role play but when I've approached my husband about it, he has never been that interested in participating. I've thought I should get some costumes and try to see how it goes. I'm sure he would enjoy it, but don't know that he would just in the role playing which would not make it that fun for me. May be worth a try though.
