We noticed that we kiss a lot BEFORE actually getting "into it", but during active sexual activity...even if face to face, we are concentrating on "other things" and kissing may be a peck here and a nibble there, but the hot kissing is not part of that action. Sometimes we do but there are sometimes where there is no kissing involved at all because we are not face to face or the positions do not allow it.

Not really, it's fun to change things up. I was with this guy once that kept wanting to kiss and kiss. It was so constant, to the point that it was hard to concentrate on anything else. Got a little sick of kissing since then but doesn't mean it is a bad thing to do.
