While I don't care much about the look of them, neither of us is really into the action it takes to get them. That skin on our necks is more painfully sensitive than it is erotically sensitive. There are plenty of other places for us to travel though.

nope....that's not for us. Hubby left a mark ONCE and that was the only time (he didn't mean to) it was horrible because we noticed it in the car on the way to his parents house....(strict catholic) it was an awkward visit.

No. I'm an adult. My Man and I can have sex without leaving suck marks on each other necks, just to let people know "OOOOO they did it!" (Isn't that why teenagers love hickeys so much? So that other people will "know" what they did?)
Sucking can certainly be done without leaving a mark, and I work in a conservative field and it would not be professional if I showed up to see a patient with a hickey on my neck.

I'm not really into hickeys, giving or receiving. For some reason they seem very "high school" to me. Plus the amount of sucking that I've had to use to give one and that was needed to give me one... well, I don't see myself, or anyone else, sucking that hard and it being enjoyable (other than, of course, on nipples or genitals, but that's a different story).

We like to tease each other and say we're going to give each other hickeys because we both don't want them in visible places. So we suck just hard enough that it stays for a few minutes. Maybe giving or getting hickeys are a bit high school. I sometimes can't help myself. I'm much darker than my boyfriend so hickeys doen't show up on me lol hahahaha. My boyfriend on the other hand is as white as you can get. I nomrally leave them on him, and he's perfectly okay with it. I try to stay away from the neck because he works. We don't know what his boss would say if he came to work looking like he'd been attacked.
