I shave for both reasons. I like the lack of hair for more closeness during sex, and I appreciate the lack of it in terms of cleanliness, especially when I get my period.

It's mainly hygiene for me, but it's just neater and easier, especially with things like panty liners.

I'm single so it's not like I have anyone else' opinion, but it's nicer too.

(Haha, I just have to add this little tag on here. I realized I answered a similar question on here once about shaving. I didn't even consider that they were talking about the girl parts and joked that I waited until I was a yeti. *sigh* Good times.)

Actually I started shaving in high school. Only because I was involved in the swimming team and those suits are TINY....So I started to make sure nothing was creeping out the sides. I've just kinda kept it up (Not completely shaven) to tidy up, and I've never been able to bring myself to put up with the prickles long enough to let any grow back.

Mostly for looks actually. I know my wife likes it better that way but so do I. Then again, I think it's only fair if I want her to shave I should to.
