HE is " watching the game on TV". She "wants attention", slips into something sexy (or out of everything) and tries to seduce him. Does this EVER really happen?

This "scene" has been the "joke" in countless movies, TV shows and commercials....but has it EVER really happened to ANYONE in the real world?

Has it happened to YOU?

How did it REALLY "go down"???

I personally will not do something like that to interrupt my husband's game, why can't a person wait till the game's over, and get all the attention she crave?

Also find it ridiculous - would you want him to interrupt your bridge club or shopping expedition or manicure for the same reasons when you're completely concentrating on what you're doing?

Jealousy over football never made sense to me.

I agree 100%.

I like watching football just as much him, anyway. So, it's something we usually do together.

I'm not going to bug him if he's watching something on TV. I'd be pissed as hell if he told me to drop my relaxing activity of the day to have sex with him at the current moment. Sex will happen, but we all need to be patient and wait our turn. So yeah, if necessary, I'll wait till after he's done to dress up and be sexy.

Yeah.. I probably wouldn't interrupt, either. However, my husband doesn't watch football, so I guess it's a nonissue.

I do it. My boyfriend watches a lot of sports. That's basically what he does every night. I have no interest in sports, but I cuddle with him on the couch, and a lot of the time I'll start kissing and touching him, which leads to him turning the tv off and taking me to the bedroom. He doesn't mind at all. I know when he's just watching tv to kill time, and when it's a game that's really important to him, so I don't interrupt/distract him when I know he actually cares about seeing the end.

I agree with Chili.

The big problem with missing a sports game is that you can't really watch it later and have it feel the same. It's only a couple hours, the appreciation he feels could pay off in spades!

Well...neither or us are big sports fans...so no, but we've definitely tried to "distract" each other when we're looking for attention and the other person has been engaged in something else.
