The child rearing years can be tough on your sex life - but do what you can to keep it hot and fun. Make sure it's 'play time' not too bound up in 'romance'.
Now that we are empty nesters - we have sex way more often than when the kids were at home.

If it was up to him, everyday. Realistically 3-5 times every two weeks. Depends on various factors. Time being the main one. Bills,bills bills means work, work , work.

Once a day with my actual partner (we practice tantra together), sometimes more than once a day and sometimes skipping a day or two, so the average is clearly once a day. It was also the case with my ex who was not tantric and that for 7 years, so it seems to be my cup of tea no matter what

Maybe we're just out of hand, and this surprises me, lol, but 3 years together and 2 kids later, we have sex at least 3x a day, and sometimes up to 5 or 6.

Our frequency is largely determined by work/school schedules... often by the time we get a moment, we're both beat and it's the end of the day. It's not gonna be helped by me working in another town during the week this summer But we still manage at least once a week if not a few times a week.

My wife works in education so her summer schedule is reduced days and 4 days a week - so I presented her a challenge.
I will never ask for sex (yes I'm usually the one who initiates) - it will be completely up to her for the 71 days of her summer!
Wow did she ever take the challenge - at the 1/2-way point we had sex 19x in 36 days - and that's in spite of many challenges like visitors and periods. We've had a blast - some days we're so spent from the night before that we can't even think about repeating.
I have to admit for a male nearing 63 (August) I don't think I could sustain sex more often!
Here's to hoping you're having a summer of fun
