He should be more open mided, talk to him about how toys make your sex life together more fun. Also if he's or if you both are into pornography, maybe he will get used to the idea of using them if you watched videos about that together or something. That's just what I would do.

Let him use one on you and then do something very special for him sexually. Men are simple (lol) and if he begins associating it with fun and pleasure instead of an assault on his manhood he will be hooked.
